Short Reviews: Mystery, Erotic Romance and Paranormal Reviews

My apologies for slacking off on reviews the past few weeks.  I’ve been reading a lot, but too busy with life to get here as I should.   Here are a few books worth mention.

Well reading I’ve been lately has been quite a mixed bag – erotic romance, mystery and paranormal.  I’ve also had mixed results, as usual, but a couple worthy entries – one erotic futuristic and one mystery.

New Urban Fantasy and Epic Fantasy Novels – Short Reviews

If anyone wonders why I grow impatient with badly told paranormal and urban fantasy novellas and novels that substitute sex for story, well here we go – 3 excellent examples of how good it can be when well done.  I do enjoy well done Urban Fantasy books out there with heroines can take care of themselves.   Here are some short reviews of two urban fantasies and one epic fantasy novel by a new writer.

Dear Author and Smart Bitches Play April Fool Again

Last year the ladies of Smart Bitches blog and Dear Author blog did a very elaborate April Fool joke on their readers.  I just went to each site and was wondering what the hell was going on and I looked at the clock.  Yup, they did it AGAIN!  You got to give them credit, they do funny and very elaborate April Fool jokes.  And this year you can BUY a review.  LOL
